About Us

Money skills
for life.
Learning filled
with possibility.

Lily’s Ledger is a children’s education and entertainment brand that makes financial learning fun, accessible and meaningful.

Through relatable characters, original music, stories and interactive experiences, we help children explore how money works and how their choices connect to their goals, values and the people around them.

Our world begins in Harmonyville, where Lily, her family and friends turn everyday experiences into opportunities to learn. Saving for something special, solving a problem or trying a business idea becomes an adventure children can connect to their own lives.

Our core stories and music are created primarily for ages 5–12, with enrichment programming. We also support the adults guiding those early lessons: parents, teachers, early childhood educators and community leaders.

Our Mission

To teach children how to use money with confidence, purpose and kindness through storytelling, music and hands-on learning.

Our Vision

A generation of financially confident, compassionate and resourceful young people who pursue their dreams and help build stronger families and communities.

What We Believe

Every child belongs.

Children deserve learning experiences that value their backgrounds, abilities and potential.

Confidence grows through practice.

Questions, small steps and mistakes are all part of learning to make thoughtful choices.

Fun has a purpose.

Music, imagination and play help us create experiences children want to take part in.

Money is a tool.

Children can learn to use it to meet their needs, pursue goals, create opportunities and care for others.

We grow together.

Families, educators and communities all have a role in helping children build healthy money habits.

About Harmonyville

A town where small lessons lead to big possibilities.

Welcome to Harmonyville, the storybook home of Lily, her family and friends.

Inspired by the charm of Ontario’s small-town main streets, Harmonyville is filled with familiar places: a bustling town square, a welcoming library, local shops, a community garden and spaces to create, play and connect.

Each place offers an opportunity to discover something new. A visit to the market might spark a conversation about spending choices. A community project might inspire an idea for earning money. A dream shared with a friend might become a savings goal.

Meet Lily

Lily is a curious, creative teenager learning how to turn ideas into action. Alongside her younger brother Jai, her family and her friends, she explores the choices, challenges and possibilities that come with growing up.

She asks questions, makes mistakes and keeps learning inviting children to do the same.

Meet Our Founder

Harprit Gill brings together her experience as a financial advisor, educator and former social worker to create financial learning that connects with children’s everyday lives.

Her work with children and youth began at age 15. Growing up in Toronto’s Jane and Finch community shaped her understanding of the importance of access, belonging and opportunity. Across 17 years in social services and her subsequent work in financial education, she saw how deeply money can affect a family’s choices and sense of possibility.

Lily’s Ledger grew from her desire to introduce these lessons early, in ways children would enjoy and understand. What began as an idea for workshops expanded into a world of stories, characters and music, united by a belief in every child’s potential.
